Your impact as a (Senior) Release Train Engineer (RTE)

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on professional who brings structure, clarity, and calm to complex delivery work. In this senior role, you’ll take ownership of our release and quality assurance process end to end and ensure that every release is well planned, low-risk, and delivered with confidence. You’ll be responsible for level upping Mylab’s release management to make it scalable to accomodate Mylab’s business growth.

You’ll work side by side with our QA, compliance, development, and system teams to keep releases on track and quality high. Together with Product Owners and Project Managers, you’ll help plan what gets delivered and when, making sure value flows smoothly to our customers. While you don’t manage a dedicated team, you lead through influence and collaboration by connecting people, solving problems, and keeping everyone moving in the same direction.

What you bring to the table

This is a great role for a senior professional who enjoys coordinating many moving parts, cares deeply about quality, and takes pride in seeing things come together smoothly. You combine technical understanding with strong communication and leadership-by-influence skills. Ideally, you have:

• A background in release management, software development or quality assurance
• Relevant education (Bachelor’s degree or higher); further training or certifications are a plus
• Solid, hands-on experience in release or QA coordination roles
• Experience from a B2B or regulated environment, ideally familiar with ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 practices
• Familiarity with release and project tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps — or eagerness to develop in that area
• Fluency in Finnish and English; Swedish is a plus
