Your impact as a Chief Architect

Are you passionate about turning vision into reality? We’re looking for a Chief Architect to take ownership of our target architecture and guide its implementation across teams and projects. This is a key leadership role for someone who sees the big picture, has the confidence to challenge and renew existing ways of working but also appreciates the importance of the practical details that move things forward.

As our Chief Architect, you’ll work closely with business analysts, product owners, developers, and client architects to shape a clear, unified architectural vision. You will lead Mylab’s talented four-person architecture team, guiding their work and ensuring the roadmap is both clear and actionable. You own Mylab’s target architecture and ensure the long-term technical integrity of our products as well as support with your team our business in solution architecture and development teams in achieving a great developer experience. With a forward-looking mindset, you’ll help scale our architectural practices and take them to the next level - driving initiatives that elevate our developer experience, strengthen data management, and expand our AI capabilities. While you won’t be coding yourself, you’ll still be deeply involved in shaping how architecture supports real business outcomes.

What you bring to the table

We’re looking for an experienced architecture leader who might come from a background in solution or enterprise architecture, software development, product leadership, or technology advisory roles. In addition, you’ll:

• hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• bring solid experience from a product company or a consulting environment.
• benefit from experience in data, AI, and/or cloud-based architectures.
• communicate fluently in Finnish and English; Swedish is a plus.
