Detailed information about your role

As a Product Owner at Mylab, you are the ultimate owner of the solution provided to the customer. This is a software development role, and it is placed in the technology unit. With your technical leadership, you are responsible for maximizing the value of the product development in our business.

Your role is crucial in scoping efficiently through systematic planning of the deliverables. To achieve this, you will constantly discuss and negotiate with customers about the delivery scope and then plan effective solution delivery.

In this role, you work as a Product CEO to ensure customers get what has been agreed upon. Your main responsibility is to guarantee our development delivers what has been promised.

As a Product Owner, you communicate incremental plans and viable development increments for the rest of the organization to create clarity and understanding of our direction and progress. To make this happen, you prioritize the key development tasks for the increments together with other product management professionals. You ensure we always have a solution at feature level to deliver.

You will collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders, especially with product development teams, architects, product management, and project management. You support the implementation of good user experience. In addition, you lead one or more product development teams.

While your role is independent and responsible, you are not alone. Success is a collective effort. You will be welcomed by a skilled group of colleagues who are eager to learn and collaborate to deliver high-quality products and customer experience.

Are you a product development professional with software experience?

If so, this role might be perfect for you. To succeed in this position, you need to have a strong background in the software industry and practical work experience as a Product Owner or Project Manager. It is beneficial if you have experience in the healthcare technology sector.

We hope that you have a get-things-done attitude. You have the skills to scope, which means you are always able to find MVP and MLP and differentiate between the two to get deliveries done.

It is vital that you have the skills and ability to understand technical details to get things done with our developers. You have a sharp vision of the product and how it aligns with our business goals. You possess the ability to make tough prioritization decisions.

You are a great collaborator, and you have good skills to negotiate with stakeholders to reach win-win situations and clear agreement on scope. You communicate effectively with both the development teams and stakeholders in English and Finnish/Swedish.
